Old Play is a 5 piece cover band. We play 60’s, 70’s 80’s and 90’s music. We are from Adelaide South Australia. We formed in 2017.
Our line-up is Heather - lead vocalist, Howard - Bass, Paul - Lead guitarist and backing vocals, Rick - rhythm guitarist and backing vocals, and Mark - drummer.

We are influenced by too many artists including the Rolling Stones, Tina Turner, Beatles, Fleetwood Mac, David Bowie, Abba, Jimmy Barnes and the Divinyls to name a few.
Oldplay band is melodic and rhythmic. We play as a team. The band’s music will make you want to dance the night away.
We have played at the Royal Adelaide Show in 2022 and have performed over 70+ shows.

REWIND
We are a local Adelaide band called ‘REWIND’, we play an array of cover songs from various artists, mainly 80’s fun sing-along dance tunes, but also a few from the forgotten 70’s and revived 90’s. We have an extensive list of songs by various artists for example – Pat Benatar, Kim Wilde, The Romantics & ABBA (Just to name a few).
‘Rewind’ is a six-piece band comprising of an odd mature Guitarist, crazy shy Drummer, good vintage Keyboard player, a strange haired Bass player & two wonderful energetic female vocalists – members averaging in age from the dynamic 40’s and onwards.
The band has built a great following during their Five years of performing at various venues across town, from The Port and Semaphore thru to the City and Athelstone.
What pleases ‘Rewind’ the most, is looking out to the crowd and seeing the shy patrons at the back quietly singing along to ‘Flame Trees’ or the local hard-nosed barfly taping his foot to the beat of ‘Old Time Rock ‘n’ Roll’ or the Bar Maid sneaking in a ‘NutBush’ kick and step behind the counter or the crowd on the floor dancing every move while shouting along to the words of ‘Warrior’. But most of all, it’s knowing when you walk out the door, you think to yourself ‘Damn…!! ‘Rewind’ just slapped me with a ‘Mix-Tape’ of my youth.’ Because we know that behind every great song is an even greater memory.
