With the easing of covid restrictions now behind us, many venues have once again reintroduced entertainment. We currently have many people contacting us asking if we have any karaoke events in the southern suburbs. Unfortunately we have had to say 'Sorry, there is no venue currently offering weekly karaoke south of the CBD other than the Aberfoyle park Hub Tavern once a month'.

Currently their are around 8 different venues utilising weekly karaoke in the northern suburbs,  2-3 in the west/north western suburbs & none in the Eastern suburbs that we know of.

Clinton Visser the owner & founder of Karaoke Services Adelaide took over the 15 year running karaoke event at the Emu hotel from former hosts and good friends MJay & Leanne. With many years of Music, live Sound/lighting & karaoke experience both as a host & a participant of karaoke & also from working with local Adelaide bands Clinton was a regular attendant of the Emu hotels weekly karaoke event, and gained the respect of the fellow attendants till he was asked to take over running the event by the former hosts & the regular patrons in 2019 & continued hosting the event for a further 4 years till karaoke at the Emu Hotel was Cancelled after 19 years of weekly karaoke at the venue in late 2023 leaving our following in the southern areas with nowhere to go for their weekly karaoke fix. Clinton is widely known for hosting karaoke in the Southern suburbs and has a growing following from hosting our 4 year running weekly event at the Stamford Grand Hotel's Grand Bar in Glenelg & previous weekly events both at the Mawson lakes hotel & Emu hotel.
